Unipi 1.1

Unipi 1.1 - complete set

Simple and inexpensive expansion board for the Raspberry Pi computer, allowing it to function as a programmable logic controller (PLC). It features 8 × changeover relays (rated 250V AC/5A or 24V DC/5A), 12+2 galvanically isolated digital inputs (triggered by 5-24V DC), 2 × 0-10 V analog inputs, 1 × 0-10 V analog output, 1 × 1-Wire port, 1 × I2C port for extension, 1 × battery slot for RTC, 1 × UART port.

You can buy the extension board without Raspberry Pi or complete kit including Raspberry Pi 4 model B or Raspberry Pi 3 model B. The extension board is also compatible with Raspberry Pi B+, Raspberry Pi 2 B and Raspberry Pi 3 B+. We offer also Unipi 1.1 Lite version – a small alternative of Unipi 1.1 for small automation projects.

Unipi Neuron

Unipi Neuron

Unipi Neuron is a product line of universal programmable logic controllers (PLC) based on Raspberry Pi 3 model B. It is a modular and highly flexible device, which can be also used as a gateway. It enables you to control (locally or remotely) connected systems and devices over inputs, outputs and communication interfaces.

Placed in aluminium case Neuron is available in 3 sizes featuring digital inputs/outputs, analogue inputs/outputs, relay outputs, 1-Wire bus, RS485 interface, Ethernet, USB 2.0, WiFi and Bluetooth.

Software options

Both Unipi 1.1 and Neuron are Linux based and open source – you are not limited by a single software option, allowing you to choose from a wide range of compatible open source or commercial software solutions:

  • Mervis (free when used with Unipi controllers) – main supported software solution featuring programming interface, HMI graphical editor, runtime environment, proxy server, cloud database SCADA and control with web interface
  • SDK (Software development kit) – for application development or implementation into existing solution using our free API EVOK and Modbus or SysFS
  • Open source 3rd party solutions – FHEM, Node-RED, PiDome, Domoticz, DomotiGa, Pimatic
  • Commercial 3rd party solutions – CODESYS, REXYGEN

Have a few extra I/Os

During the installation, you can find yourself in a situation where you need more I/Os than was originally planned. To avoid such issues, always count with more I/Os in order to have a reserve. Alternatively, you can purchase one of our extension modules. These will extend your network by additional I/Os for the much lower price than purchasing another controller.
