The Unipi Technology s.r.o. company hereby informs you of the processing of personal data made in connection with the visit to the Unipi technology website as well as of the other cases of personal data processing generated by the Company's activities. (current version as of 19.12.2022)

Section 1 – Purpose of the statement

hereinafter referred to as "the Company"

processes all personal data under the legislation governing the protection of personal data, in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of the natural person concerning the processing of personal data on the free movement of such data and the repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR).

Section 2 – Processing of personal data for sending business messages


Personal data is processed only after the visitor has subscribed to newsletters and business messages through the appropriate links at https://www.unipi.technology/. To sign up, you need to fill in the visitor's e-mail address. The visitor may also provide other details such as name, surname, telephone number, address, etc.

Personal information provided by the visitor is processed by the Company based on its consent to the sending of these materials. This information always includes at least the visitor's e-mail address. The visitor has the right to withdraw his consent to the processing of personal data at any time, or to use the check-out link in the footer of each business message.

Visitor data is also processed with SmartEmailing, operated by SmartSelling a.s., registered office at Netroufalky 797/5, 625 00 Brno, TIN: 29210372, VAT ID: CZ29210372.

In some cases, these data may be processed based on the legitimate interest of the Company.

Section 3 – Processing of personal data in connection with the purchase of the Unipi technology e-shop


In the case of an e-commerce purchase at https://www.unipi.technology/shop, the Company will process the personal data needed to perform all the actions related to the order, payment, and delivery of the goods. These are the following

  • name and surname
  • email address
  • telephone number
  • delivery address
  • billing address (if different from delivery)

These data are processed to implement the agreement between the Company and the customer, the delivery of the goods, and the fulfillment of the obligations under the applicable sales legislation (e.g., the Act on Accounting, the Value Added Tax Act). These data may be processed to protect the Company's interests.
The Company deposits and processes these data for a period of 10 years from the date of conclusion of the relevant agreement.

The data is also processed using the ZOHO application, operated by Zoho Corporation Pvt. Ltd., headquarters in Estancia IT Park, Plot no. 140, 151, GST Road, Vallancheri, Chengalpattu District - 603 202, INDIA.

Payment

If the customer chooses a direct payment gateway to complete the purchase, the payment gateway stores the customer's payment card data. This data is encrypted using PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Standard). Payment card details are only stored until the purchase is completed. This data is deleted as soon as the payment is completed.

Any direct payment gateway is subject to the standard described in PCI DSS, as determined by the PCI SSC (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council), which was developed in cooperation with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Delivery to the customer

To ensure delivery of the goods to the customer, the above personal data may be provided to the following shipping companies:

Section 4 – Processing of personal data in connection with the handling of inquiries, demands, complaints, and training course applications


The Company processes personal data provided by a person who raised the inquiry, demand, or request. Such data are processed by the Company only to the extent strictly necessary, and only for the time required to process a query or request, unless it is necessary to process these data for any other purpose (e.g., protection of Unipi Technology rights and interests). These data are volunteered - without their knowledge, Unipi Technology will not be able to handle the request, request, or query. This is without consent.

In the case of claiming through customer service, e-mail address, or in the paper form delivered to the Company's address, personal data necessary for the execution of the claim are processed for its processing. The legal basis for such processing is the fulfillment of the Company's statutory obligations, and this is the case without consent.

The consent of a visitor is not required even in the case of the processing of personal data to protect the rights and the legitimate interests of the Company. The processing time, extent and other aspects of personal data protection depending on the Company's obligation to process a complaint or meet the requirements of Act No. 235/2004 Coll. on value-added tax.

Processing of data to handle inquiries, suggestions, and complaints is done by the Company. If necessary or appropriate, the Company is authorized to transfer the processed personal data to third parties, namely suppliers and/or manufacturers, for processing and processing an inquiry, suggestion, and complaint. The particular supplier or manufacturer to whom the data is passed is determined by the product or, as the case may be, is determined by a query. Information about suppliers or products for which personal data can be provided can be found by sending a query to info@unipi.technology.
