05/02/2020 Introducing the second generation of the successful Neuron 500 and Axon 500 controllers

Axon 500 and Neuron 500 designations encompass the controllers featuring a universal combination of I/Os coupled with a set of multiple analog inputs and outputs and additional RS485/RS232 serial interfaces. Within the Neuron product line, these models are represented by the M503, L503 and L513 controllers.

Additional analog I/Os open up a wide range of possible applications. Analog inputs are suitable for measuring voltage, current or resistance values from various analog sensors such as pressure meters, tensometers, resistance thermometers etc. Analog outputs are then designed for control and regulation of three-way valves, heat exchangers, pumps, electric motors and other multi-state devices. Thanks to these features the Neuron 500 became a notable success, followed by the Axon 500 line of M505, M515 and L505 controllers.

All of these controllers retain all advantages of their predecessors, namely compact size, favourable price-per-I/O ratio, durable aluminium chassis and other pros. Default features of the respective product line were naturally retained as well - all new Neuron controllers retain 4× USB, a single 1-Wire bus and a 10/100Mbit Ethernet. The same thing applies for the Axon M525 as well, keeping its 1-Wire bus, 2× USB, 1Gbit Ethernet and an extended operating temperature range.

All of the mentioned new models are already in stock and available for orders. The replaced models were phased out of production and will no longer be available.
