In recent months, we have been witnessing a significant surge in demand for memory chips and other key electronic components. The primary driver is the unprecedented expansion of AI infrastructure. AI data centres worldwide are absorbing enormous volumes of memory. According to analysis by TrendForce, the DRAM market recorded a QoQ price increase of more than 90%.This trend has an impact on the industry as a whole. For example, Raspberry Pi Holdings announced in February 2026 its second price increase on Compute Modules within just four months, with price hikes reaching up to 47%. Given market interdependencies, the price increases are not limited to DRAM alone but extend to other components as well.
What does this mean for our pricing?
Unfortunately, we cannot avoid the rise in input costs, and we must pass a portion of them on through our updated price list.
