Please note that the Mervis SCADA trial period ends on June 30, 2025. To use the service after this date, it is necessary to confirm the price quote that we sent to users by e-mail at the beginning of the trial period.
This article is intended for users who have been trying out the new Mervis SCADA features during a free three-month trial period from April 1 to June 30, 2025. Customers who have confirmed the price quote are all set and no further confirmation is required from them.
What is going on
- Due to the completed development of the Mervis SCADA features, we switched to a pricing model based on the number of used data points, from April 1, 2025.
- We have provided the three-month free trial – from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025.
- Charging according to the number of data points (DP) used will start from July 1, 2025.
- To use the Mervis SCADA service from July 1 onwards, it is necessary to confirm the price quote and place an order between April 1 and June 30, 2025. If the customer does not do so, the service will be unavailable from July 1, and the data will subsequently be deleted.
- From July 1, it will no longer be possible to log in and use the Mervis DB Viewer.
- Access to data point history will only be available via the SCADA API from July 1, instead of the previous DB API. More information can be found on our KB.
- We have informed about these changes via several e-mails and articles on the Unipi technology website.
How to proceed
Transition to the paid version of Mervis SCADA
- Confirm the price quote and order the service by June 30, 2025. Simply reply to the e-mail with the price quote “I am ordering Mervis SCADA” to switch to the paid version. An invoice for payment for DP used in the previous month will always arrive retrospectively on a monthly basis. If you are unable to find the e-mail even in spam, please contact our sales department.
Switching from Mervis DB to the paid version of Mervis SCADA (valid only for Mervis DB Viewer users)
- Due to the end of development and, thus, the availability of Mervis DB Viewer updates, it is necessary to switch to Mervis SCADA. This will give you all the SCADA features and help you avoid the security risks associated with using DB Viewer.
- In case you want to switch to Mervis SCADA service, please contact our technical support.
- Confirm the price quote and order the service by June 30, 2025. Simply reply to the e-mail with the price quote “I am ordering Mervis SCADA” to switch to the paid version.
- From July 1, 2025, logging in to Mervis DB Viewer will no longer be possible. We recommend you export your data via DB Viewer before then (instructions can be found here).
Termination of the Mervis SCADA service
- You can withdraw your data from the database if you no longer want to use the Mervis SCADA service. This is recommended as the data will be unavailable from July 1, 2025.
