High-performance Edge controllers
The Unipi Edge series is designed for automation, regulation, and monitoring of building management systems (BMS), HVAC, photovoltaic power plant control, and home or industrial automation systems. It combines performance, reliability, flexibility, and openness.
High connectivity density: maximum functionality in a compact design
With just 6 modules (108 mm), you get up to 11× digital and analog I/O, 2× Ethernet, 2× RS485, 2× USB, µHDMI, and wireless technologies LTE (Cat1/Cat4), dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS. Thanks to its form factor, the controller fits perfectly into standard switchboards. The robust aluminum chassis provides additional heat dissipation and protection against electromagnetic interference.

Overview of models and variants
All models are based on the Raspberry Pi CM4 processor (4× Arm® Cortex®-A72, max. 1.5 GHz) and feature TPM 2.0, NVRAM (128 kB), independent hardware Watchdog, real-time clock, and user LEDs.
In addition to the variants that are available in our e-shop, any combination of RAM/eMMC and wireless technology (LTE, WiFi/BT, GNSS) can be assembled. Contact us for a price quote.

Easy I/O expansion with the Unipi xS series
The Unipi xS series of I/O modules enables project expansion with additional inputs and outputs for connecting sensors and actuators. Integrating the modules is cost-effective, increases system flexibility, and saves on cabling and maintenance. Unipi xS I/O modules are fully compatible with the Unipi Edge product series.
Accurate analog inputs for voltage, current, or resistance measurement
Easily configure universal analog inputs for voltage and current measurements. Achieve maximum flexibility for a project, with high reliability and measurement accuracy.
Flexible digital outputs for positive and negative poles
The Unipi Edge stands out with its flexible digital outputs, capable of switching both to ground and to the supply voltage (positive). This flexibility greatly simplifies installation, as it is not limited to a single wiring type.
Software openness
Unipi Edge controllers come with Base OS, an operating system based on the Debian Linux distribution. This allows Unipi hardware to be easily integrated into your software or third-party solutions.
- Support for Linux, Node-RED, IEC 61131-3 (Mervis), EVOK API, Yocto
- Possibility to create your own OS based on Debian

Enhanced cybersecurity
Thanks to Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0), robust hardware protection of cryptographic keys and sensitive data is ensured. Unipi Edge thus protects your data and communication at the hardware level and ensures compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

Special features

Independent hardware Watchdog
In case of an emergency, controller overload, or critical error, the Watchdog automatically restarts the entire device. This saves both time and on-site service costs. The controller can also be restarted remotely in critical situations.
Retain Memory (NVRAM)
Thanks to this memory, the Unipi Edge retains critically important data even after a power outage, such as meter readings. The controller thus remembers its last state and configuration, which is crucial for applications requiring long-term reliability and operational continuity.
Counter inputs
All digital inputs have a counter function, making them especially suitable for reading data from electricity meters, water meters, gas meters, and other pulse meters used in building automation and HVAC systems. They can also be used for monitoring motor speed or counting pulses.
User freely programmable LEDs
Allows you to set up additional LED signaling to suit your project needs.
RTC
Unipi Edge includes a real-time clock (RTC) with a battery life of up to 10 years, ensuring that it will keep accurate time even during a long power outage. This guarantees that your projects will always operate reliably according to the correct time.
Direct switch
The direct switch function operates independently of the controller’s program, making it suitable for applications such as lighting control or other time-critical scenarios where faster output response is required.
