A Chinese provider of automation solutions is using Unipi controllers for control of air conditioning systems in a demanding industrial environment.
Sinneo is a Chinese developer and provider of software and hardware for industrial automation. The company offers automation solutions for a wide range of fields, from automotive to pharmaceutics. One of Sinneo’s projects is a system of automatic air conditioning and ventilation control based on Unipi Axon controllers. The project is installed in a metal processing factory in Suzhou.
The project consists of two Axon S205 controllers (recently replaced on the Unipi e-shop by the Patron S207 model) installed each in one workshop. The PLCs are monitoring air temperature and humidity via a set of sensors and switch air handling units and dehumidifiers accordingly via relay outputs. The controllers also act as gateways, providing Modbus connection between external I/O modules and various machinery in workshops. The Mervis system, the officially supported SW platform for Unipi products, is used as a software solution.
