A customer from Switzerland, a user of customized Unipi controllers, created a project of lights, shutters and blinds automation for a bank building in Lausanne.
Weble is a Swiss software company focusing on the development of software solutions for the IoT sphere and implementation of automation solutions. The flagship product of Weble is the Weble IoT Gateway platform for control and monitoring of automation projects. Primary communication protocols used by the platform are Modbus TCP/RTU, KNX IP, Bacnet IP/MSTP and MQTT. An OEM variant of the Unipi Neuron S103 controller is used as a hardware platform, featuring a custom colour and Weble company logo.
Among Weble projects is also the KNX based automation of the UBS bank building in Lausanne, Switzerland. Unipi controllers with KNX IP gateways are used to control the building lighting, blinds, and shutters placed in multiple storeys. Each storey is divided into multiple zones in which shutters, blinds and lighting can be controlled through a special user interface customized per the customer’s needs. The cafeteria is equipped with an iPad Pro tablet permitting to control directly dining room lights and blinds through the web application available on the Apple store. Android-based phone & tablets are also supported.
The system also features sunlight intensity sensors; these sensors are used to determine which side of the building is the most exposed to sunlight and to adjust the shutters and blinds settings accordingly. Last but not least the system includes a time schedule for shutters and blinds, closing them automatically in the evening hours.
