1-Wire temperature and humidity sensors available in the Unipi catalogue are designed for measuring temperature and humidity in monitoring, regulation and HVAC control projects. The sensors utilize original DS18B20 chips and, along with compact size, offer quick installation and easy connection to Unipi PLCs or the Unipi Extension xG18. These features make the sensors applicable in building management systems, industrial installations, smart home projects, HVAC control systems and other automation projects.

Compatibility with Unipi products
1-Wire sensors are compatible with all Unipi products featuring the 1-Wire bus. Depending on the current device the sensors can be connected using the RJ45 connector, or through suitable splitters or reductions. Sensors with the plastic head have the grommet placed on the bottom edge of the head, allowing for the connection of multiple sensors to a single bus.
Unipi Neuron, Unipi Patron and Unipi Axon controllers
Selected PLC models from the mentioned product lines are equipped with a 1-Wire bus with a 3-pin connector. Sensors can be connected to it either by cutting away the RJ45 connector and wiring the conductors to the 3-pin terminal (see this link) or by using the RJ45 splitter. Unipi Extension xG18 module
An easy and reliable solution for collecting data from up to eight 1-Wire temperature sensors. The device features RJ45 connectors, to which the sensors can be connected directly without any adjustments needed. 1-Wire channels of the module are independent of each other, preventing the failure of the entire bus in case of a single sensor error. The module communicates with the control system using the RS485 serial interface (Modbus RTU protocol). Further info about the xG18 module is available on this link. Note: The xG18 module does not support humidity sensors.
1-Wire 8-port hub
A simple 1-Wire hub with eight RJ45 connectors for connecting up to seven 1-Wire sensors (the eighth port serves for connecting the hub to a controller). For more info, please visit this link.
Software options
Sensors are fully compatible with the Mervis system, the official software solution for Unipi controllers. Thanks to the compatibility with the EVOK open web-service API, you can use the data from the sensors either in your software or in any of the supported third-party solutions.
